HDSSAG20DN Satellite Selector for DISH Network |
|||
The High Definition 20dB Adjustable Gain Satellite Selector for DISH Network (HDSSAG20DN) is a combination of four power inserters, a 20dB adjustable gain amplifier, and independent power supply that ensures strong and consistent DC voltage levels to Dish Pro and Dish Pro Plus LNBs while also adding signal strength to the system. Capable of selecting and amplifying all transponder signals from any of the DISH Network satellites, the Satellite Selector can be used in residential, commercial, and SMATV systems where long cable runs exist between the dish antenna, system multi-switches, and television receivers. Connections from the dish LNBs can be to any of the four Satellite Selector input ports. Unused channels on the Satellite Selector do not require termination. Use the adjustable gain controls to more accurately tune each of the four system channels and maximize multi-switch output levels to the highest C/N ratio possible. The Adjustable Gain Satellite Selector allows you to build more reliable systems, use fewer parts, and produce a cleaner C/N output on all channels. HDTV Labs products are all designed for easy installation. Mounting brackets make it easy to secure the devices to walls or flat surfaces. Wide spacing of the "F" connectors makes attaching or removing cabling to the devices a simple procedure. Although meant for indoor use, the Satellite Selector is built with a Professional-Grade rugged aluminum housing and corrosion resistant connectors to extend the life of the product. The power inserter circuitry of the Satellite Selector biases or powers the dish LNBs and along with the external power supply, ensures strong and consistent DC voltage and current levels to the LNBs. Very low-level signal recovery capability allows for longer cable runs to exist in the system before amplification is needed. There is no need for external attenuators or added cable lengths when the Adjustable Gain Satellite Selector is used in the system. A 20-turn potentiometer provides precise gain control on each of the Selector’s four channels. The gain adjustment is not linear, but will change more slowly at the lower end. As a built-in safety feature to prevent them from breaking, the potentiometers do not have a stop on either end. Proper output signals should be checked with a meter to prevent overdriving any of the system’s four channels. Installation cost and complexity are reduced in systems using the HDSSAG20DN Adjustable Gain Satellite Selector, saving both time and money. All HDTV Labs products are designed and manufactured in the USA. |
