General Returns Policy
Your satisfaction is our success! We strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service possible. From first visit to order delivery, we at HDTV Labs want you to be completely satisfied with your experience.

 

Your return will be handled in one of three ways, depending upon the date it was originally shipped to you. The first 30 days after shipping can be considered a trial period with a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with the product. We also offer a 12 month warranty period as well as service for those devices shipped longer than 1 year ago and considered to be out of warranty.

 

Each return to HDTV Labs requires a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to begin the return process. You may request an RMA number by either contacting us toll free at 1-877-438-8534, from the "Request RMA" page on the website, or email us at support@hdtvlabs.tv including the information listed in the RMA Number section below in the email. We will even supply you with a return shipping label either mailed to you from the shipping company, or if you need it immediately, one sent via email that you can print out yourself. Our wish is to make your return as convenient as possible.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

All HDTV Labs products carry a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, beginning the day product is shipped from our warehouse. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within this 30 day period for exchange, refund, or credit towards a future purchase (excluding shipping and handling charges). Simply notify us by phone toll free at 1-877-438-8534, the website, or by email and we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to get the process started.

12 Month Warranty Period and Restrictions

We wish all our customers to be satisfied with product performance and product durability. That’s why all HDTV Labs products are guaranteed to be free of breakage, under reasonable conditions, within the time period of one year from the date of purchase.

 

If you have merchandise that is malfunctioning or seems to be defective and is still within the 12 month warranty period, we will do our best to help you from our technical support department. In many cases, we can diagnose and resolve issues over the phone, saving you the time and expense of returning merchandise unnecessarily. Please call us toll free at 1-877-438-8534 to allow us to assist you in these situations.

 

If an item is returned, an evaluation and handling fee of 20% of the purchase price (excluding any taxes, shipping, and handling charges initially paid) will be applied to these types of returns.

 

If your merchandise is determined to be damaged due to defects in materials or manufacturer workmanship, your product will be repaired free of charge. We will also pay the shipping charges on defective returns. If reasonable repairs are not feasible or acceptable, you may choose a replacement unit, credit toward a future purchase, or a full refund.

 

Please note products showing damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from any of the following

 

·      Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature

·      Modification of the product, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product

·      Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by HDTV Labs

·      Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect

 

may not be repaired, replaced, credited, or refunded under our 12 month warranty.

Out of Warranty Repairs

In the event that a product needs repair after one year from the date of purchase, HDTV Labs is still there for you. If reasonable repairs are acceptable, we will repair the unit and return it to you. In cases like this, customers will be charged for cost of repair, shipping, and handling.

Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number

You will also find return instructions on the back of the packing slip from your original order.

 

To Return an Item, Please Use the Following Steps:

 

1.  To request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for the return, contact a customer service agent toll free at 1-877-438-8534. You may also request an RMA number from the "Request RMA" page on the website, or email us at support@hdtvlabs.tv. Please be prepared to provide the following information when requesting an RMA number:

·      Your name

·      Your daytime telephone number

·      The invoice number from the original purchase

·      The model number of the product being returned

·      The reason for the return

·      Your preference for a return shipping label (sent via mail or email)

·      Your preference of exchange for another product, replacement, refund, or credit toward future purchase

2.   Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 30 days. Please return the products within this timeframe.

3.   Customers should include the original item cartons, manuals, and accessories with the products to avoid any additional fees. Please do not tape or write anything on the item or the original item carton. In some cases, we may charge you for the replacement of damaged, altered, missing, written-on or taped-on contents or cartons.

4.   Carefully repackage and double-box the merchandise with the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside package.

Shipping Conditions

Please inspect your order carefully upon arrival. If a part of your order arrives damaged, contact us immediately. You MUST inform us within 5 days of delivery of all damaged goods, or we cannot process a claim. Our customer service department will then contact the delivery service and file a damage claim for you. Please keep all damaged packaging to allow the delivery agent to inspect. Once the damage claim has been filed and an inspection has taken place, we will process a replacement order for you.

 

We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees on the replacement order if the product was damaged, defective, or the wrong item was shipped. Call us toll free at 1-877-438-8534 for special instructions.

 

The return mailing labels either delivered to you or printed out by you are valid only for returns shipped within the U.S. Each return mailing label is coded for a specific shipment, please do not include additional items. Each shipment must be returned using a separate mailing label.

 

Please insure sufficient packaging is used to protect any return shipments. Customers are responsible for any damage caused due to insufficient packaging.

Credits and Refunds

Once we receive the returned merchandise, we will inspect, test and evaluate, and finally process your return. Once our return department determines the condition of the return, credit will be issued less any applicable evaluation and handling fees. We will notify you via e-mail of your credit or refund once we have completed evaluating the returned item. You may elect to receive store credit towards another purchase or to simply receive a refund.

 

Credit card purchases will be refunded back to the original purchasing credit card account number only. Purchases made with checks or money orders will be refunded by check.

 

Please note that we will do our best to process your return quickly, but it does take us a certain amount of time. This includes:

 

·      5 to 10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper

·      3 to 5 business days for us to test and evaluate your return

·      The time it takes your credit card company to process our refund request

 

Your credit card company determines when the issued credit will be reflected in your statement. Please allow up to 2 credit card billing cycles for your credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Reconditioned / refurbished products when available carry the same 30 day satisfaction guarantee and 12 month warranty as our new products. These products may have been previously sold and returned, then reconditioned and repackaged by HDTV Labs.
